Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at young age of fourteen. She studied kickboxing, boxing as well as wrestling, before making her first appearance in amateur competition at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. After a short break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In a recent replacement match in the UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. The fight was a unanimous decision.
